Balata, 2009

While studying at the Shenkar College I would spend many hours at school. Though I liked it, I tended to miss being at my home. So I took a photo of one of my tiles at my apartment, printed it out on a vinyl sticker and placed it on one of the tiles at school.
Friend had seen me doing this and wanted to join in so they – like me – can feel more at home. So people started sending me photos of their tiles, and every once in a while I placed a new sticker on the floors of Shenkar. And so it went on until the floor was full of new tiles.
