Avraham Cornfeld

My photography strives to take a personal view of social, cultural and political issues. In my work, I document the places, people and things that surround me.
I like to think of myself as an explorer, adventuring forth to come across those places yet to be revealed. I go on journeys across consciousness – to places where time is suspended – where the past and the present dissolve into a new dimension of reality.

Avraham Cornfeld, born in Jerusalem, 1982.
In 2006 he graduated from The Hadassah College Jerusalem, and in 2010 he graduated from The Shenkar College, Ramat Gan.
Over the past years he has achieved several different awards, including The AICF Sharet Fund for the years 2006, 2007 and 2008, and The Jerusalem Municipality Prize for Photography at 2007. His work has been shown in numerous galleries and has been published in various magazines. He currently resides in Tel Aviv, Israel.
